[Godfather]

On this day in 1620, the Pilgrims landed in Plymouth. They of course left England so that they could experience religious freedom, kill turkeys, and spend the rest of their lives being humorless and dour.

Today was a fine day of field-disc, and sorry for this report being so late. I think it was humid but not too cold. Standard: east-west set and two games of 5/11 and 4/5.

Team 1: Obama!, Sebastian, Les, Zen, and Showkiller
Team 2: Kink, Biden, Puller, Godfather, and Lyle

Game One: This was a good, close game, but the 1s were up a break for most of the game, and that was the difference. Battles to note: Puller v. Showkiller and Obama! v. Godfather. In the end though, Show and Obama! had the better games, and so that was that. Final: 11-9, Team 1.

Game Two: The two teams traded goals through 3-3. The 2s then got a couple of breaks, and were able to steal the win. Final: 5-3, Team 2.
